Frameless shower doors weren't always possible
Thanks to the advances in technology, frameless showers doors are possible because glass is thicker and stronger, making metal frames unnecessary for structural integrity. Glass shower doors can now be made from tempered (safety) glass with a thickness ranging from 3/8" to 1/2". Before these advances, metal was needed on every edge of the glass door due to the thinness of the glass (the max thickness was 3/16") to maintain structural integrity. Even with the metal frame, durability was lacking. Crevices were also an unfortunate, but unavoidable element that came with the metal frame. These crevices allowed water and soap scum to build up, leading to corrosion and mildew.

Impress your guests with a breathtaking frameless shower door. Glass shower enclosures not only create the illusion of a much larger space, but also allow you to see the tile or marble design within the enclosure. Frameless Shower enclosures are popular for older as well as newer homes, so don't let the age of your home deter you from turning your bathroom into an elegant getaway. The glass we install is tempered with a thickness of 1/2" or 3/8". It can be colorless or tinted with a color of your choice. We can also texture the glass. When we use the word frameless, we are referring to a shower enclosure that has no frame around the door unit. Depending on the style of shower, frameless enclosures can have a header for a safe and strong design. One such style that has a header is the frameless by-pass enclosures. In this style a header houses the roller mechanism and a sill to guide the slider doors. If the slider doors have a frame around them, this unit would be considered a “framed by-pass” .
Our most requested frameless enclosures include clear glass with wall mount hinges and an adjacent panel. We can also add a return panel to make a “L” shaped design. Another frameless shower style is a Neo-Angle enclosure, which is an elegant option for corner units as well as smaller spaces.

OUR PROCESS
We start with a FREE in-home estimate where we will evaluate the area you would like your new Frameless Shower to be installed. After your estimate is complete and you're ready to move forward, one of our design professionals will work with you to create the perfect dream design and layout. Our designers are experts in their field and are consistently innovative in their creativity. It is their goal to maximize the functionality of your entire bathroom and present a stunningly beautiful design for your Frameless Shower.
Next, our team will take measurements of your bathroom. With these measurements, they will design and cut each piece of glass individually. Because of the subtle differences between bathrooms, we customize each piece to ensure it fits perfectly. Once the pieces are designed and cut, holes are drilled and notches are cut out. We don't contract out any of the steps in installing your Frameless Shower, so our expert technicians fabricate each piece right in our facilities.
After the glass pieces have been fabricated, they are ready to be tempered for safety and strength (this process is required by code for all shower enclosures). The tempering process begins with heating the glass pieces to over 600 °C and then rapidly cooling them with high-pressure air. Upon request we can add a logo to a glass piece indicating it has a certification of tempering (this may be helpful for code officials).
Once the glass pieces have been tempered, installation can commence. The installation process is clean, simple and relatively quick. Installation should be complete within 2-3 hours depending on the type of shower enclosure. This is a great time to get all of your questions answered. Our certified technicians will also go over any necessary information about your new Frameless Shower. At the completion of installation you will have a luxurious new bathroom.
HARDWARE
Choosing hardware is one of the final steps in installing your new Frameless Shower. Our selection is almost endless; we have the latest styles and finishes to choose from. Our available finishes include Polished Chrome , Brushed Nickel, Matte Black, Polished Nickel, and much more. The color options we have is nearly endless as well.

EFFICIENT GLASS MAINTENANCE
We want to do our part in ensuring your Frameless Glass Shower is easy to maintain, protected and elegant for years to come which is why we apply Diamon-Fusion's patented protective coating. Once we apply a coat of DFI a chemical reaction occurs leaving an ultra-thin invisible layer. This thin invisible layer makes the glass resistant to weathering and easier to clean. With DFI you can leave the harmful chemicals on the shelf as many times a damp cloth is all that is needed to clean the glass. DFI protects the glass and makes it difficult for contaminants (such as calcium deposits and hard water stains) to stick to the glass.
